Meet the Cast

Our Team

Joshua gandary

as Leon Davis

‘Working with this crew was an absolute pleasure! Each and every one of them added to the value and quality of my performance: whether that be through input and feedback for specific scenes or by giving me breathing room and creating an environment that allowed me to get into the mental space I needed for my performances. The script itself and story that we were telling had real depth, not just because it was sad but because the characters were human and raw. It wasn’t just a case of playing depression the whole time. I worked with my directors on the different flavours that we could bring to the character in different moments to further emphasise the extent of Leon’s isolation.  Throughout this production we experimented. We learnt. We took risks. We attempted to push boundaries. And that is what art is - so again I’m very grateful to have been a part of this amazing set, with this amazing group of professionals!’

‘The cast and crew of Blurred Lines were some of the friendliest and collaborative people that I’ve worked with. I felt welcome from the moment I met them and they always took on board my thoughts and ideas. It was a real joy to explore the themes of brotherhood and friendship between the character of Kevin and my very talented cast mates.’

as Coach

‘Working on this film was a great experience. From the very beginning, the cast and crew made me feel incredibly welcomed and comfortable on set, which created such a positive atmosphere throughout production. Everyone was so professional, supportive, and collaborative, and I really appreciated how open the team was to listening to any ideas or input I had about my character and scenes. I loved exploring the character and bringing him to life alongside such a talented cast and crew. I’m very grateful to have been part of the project. Hopefully I get to work with them in the future; I’m excited for audiences to see the final film! Well done guys.’

‘I came on set to work with the crew of Blurred Lines. I really enjoyed reading the script, and while the character was a small part, it felt like she really impacted the story, so that's what initially drew me into this project. The level of professionalism I encountered was incredibly high, especially for student film standards. Everyone was very friendly and open-minded in discussing my character Dua while also trusting me with her. I was able to really focus on my job because there was someone on costume, continuity, etc. It was a very enjoyable experience to work with every single person on set, and I wish them all the most success in the future.’
